Hello!
I'm William Guillory

Butterfly Kisses
18x24 Acrylic on canvas. On my way to work one morning I felt a strange sensation and the presence of my Mother. I heard her giggle and say hi Billy. Later that morning at work I received a call from my Sister saying my Mother had passed away.
When I die my only wish is that all the wonderful souls I met along my journey feel a gentle flutter in their heart like a butterfly bouncing from flower to flower bringing them joy and sweet memories of us together.

The Question Collection
The Question Collection is a collection of paintings that will be in the ArtFields 2026 Festival April 10th to May 2nd. There are three paintings representing the Resurrection of Jesus Christ, "I am the Light", "I am the Way" and "I will Return". All three surround the main focus of the collection the painting "The Question". The question is when we take our last breath on earth; did we live our life in a manner that we will see our Lord Jesus Christ showing us the way or will satin's grip pull us down into the fires of hell?

Retired
18x24 acrylic on stretched canvas Retired is a painting from a combination of reference photos I took around southern Louisiana. The old tractor reminded me of summer days I spent at my Grandfather’s farm. Back then it was horse and plow, but the old tractor still brought back the memories. The view from a low angle represents the wonder and awe of my childhood days while the rust and flat tires reminded me of time passed and that all things come to an end. The flock of geese is also a reminder of the passing seasons. Winning a silver medal in the 35th Rice Capital Juried Show, being selected for several presages juried art shows including the 55th River Road Show, a national juried exhibition and the 2025 ArtFields Festival makes "Retired" one of my favorite works of art.

Lost Dog Walk
16x20 Acrylic on canvas. The swamps of Louisiana hold many hidden surprises and dangers. Winner of the 35th Annual Rice Capital Juried Art Show's People's Choice Award now resides in it's forever home in Louisiana.
